ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A trial date has been set for the man accused of setting two high-profile fires this year. The FBI said Jamison Wagner set fire at the Tesla showroom on the Santa Ana Pueblo in February and at the entrance of the Republican Party of New Mexico headquarters in Albuquerque in March.

Man who orchestrated shootings at elected officials’ homes could spend decades in prison

Federal officials said Wagner had a notebook with a list of ingredients needed to make explosive devices and chlorine gas. They also said he researched information on bulletproof vests and fertilizer for making improvised explosive devices.

Wagner is expected to go to trial in federal court on September 14, 2026. He faces two counts of arson.
