People looking forward to attending the Wisconsin State Fair on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025, are out of luck.
After flash floods struck the fair on Aug. 9, the fair has announced that it will not open on Aug. 10. Aug. 10 was the Wisconsin State Fair's final day. The fair started on July 31.
Videos and photos showed the flash flood that hit the fair.
The Wisconsin State Fair Says the 'Happy Together' Concert Is Cancelled
The Wisconsin State Fair also announced that the Happy Together concert tour is cancelled for Aug. 10.
"After last night’s flash flooding resulted in the early closure of State Fair Park, Wisconsin State Fair officials have determined the Fair Park will not reopen for Sunday, August 10," the fair announced as rain continued to pour throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
"We understand the disappointment you may feel as our team works all year for these 11 days. However, the safety of our Fairgoers, team, partners, and vendors will always be our top priority," they wrote.
"If you purchased tickets to The 'Happy Together' Tour for the show this evening through Etix, those tickets will be automatically refunded back to the purchaser," continued the fair.

"We are saddened we cannot deliver this final day of the Wisconsin State Fair, but know that this is the best decision with current conditions and the forecast ahead."
A person wrote on the fair's thread, "Definitely the right decision and you guys did a great job overall running the fair as usual. I'm sure even with the early closure it was successful. Stay safe everyone.
How to Get a Refund for the 'Happy Together' Concert
The fair's website provides additional details about how to get a refund.
"Tickets purchased through Etix, the official ticket provider of Wisconsin State Fair, will be automatically refunded in the coming days. Please allow up to 7-14 days for the refund to process. Individuals who purchased tickets at the State Fair Ticket Office using cash may visit the Ticket Office to receive their refund Monday-Friday between 9am-3pm to receive a refund with original tickets and ID," the fair wrote.
"Only people who purchased their tickets from Etix, the official ticket provider of Wisconsin State Fair, will receive an automatic refund. If you purchased from a third-party site, you will have to go back to that point of sale to receive a refund. As Etix is the only authorized ticketing partner of Wisconsin State Fair Park (WSFP), we are unable to validate tickets purchased from any other source and cannot provide a refund."
