Dodge’s new Charger Scat Pack combines twin-turbo power, all-wheel drive, and rear-drive fun in a muscle car under $55,000.
Dodge is rewriting the modern muscle car playbook with the unveiling of the 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack, a 550-horsepower, all-wheel-drive powerhouse priced from $54,995 — making it the most powerful production car available in the U.S. for under $55,000.
At the heart of the Scat Pack is the all-new “SIXPACK” high-output version of Stellantis’ 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six engine, tuned to deliver 550 horsepower and a 0–60 mph sprint in just 3.9 seconds. The quarter-mile passes in 12.2 seconds, with a top speed of 177 mph. Dodge says the engine offers 88% of peak torque at just 2,500 rpm, ensuring instant throttle response, with over 90% of peak torque sustained from 3,000 to 6,000 rpm.
For buyers seeking slightly less punch, the Charger R/T offers the SIXPACK standard-output version with 420 horsepower starting at $49,995. Both models come standard with all-wheel drive for everyday traction, but a rear-wheel-drive mode on the Scat Pack allows 100% of torque to flow to the rear — enabling burnouts, donuts, and controlled drifts at the push of a button.
The Scat Pack’s performance arsenal includes Launch Control, a class-exclusive Line Lock burnout feature, and a dual-mode active exhaust system with rolled tips. Five selectable drive modes — Auto, Eco, Wet/Snow, Sport, and Custom — let drivers tailor performance to conditions.
Visually, SIXPACK models feature a performance hood, aggressive fascia design, and widebody stance shared with Charger Daytona variants. Inside, the cars offer Dodge’s latest driver-focused cabin design and will be available in both two-door coupe and four-door sedan forms.
Dodge will also offer an all-electric 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack with a starting MSRP of $59,995, claiming the most horsepower available under $60,000.
With its blend of brute force, modern tech, and attainable pricing, the 2026 Charger Scat Pack reinforces Dodge’s place at the front of the muscle car pack — gasoline or electric.
