For the past two months, the youngsters have been learning how to take on the world with the help of their parents and the KC Zoo staff. And just recently, at the start of August, they made their grand debut to the public, allowing visitors to witness their goofy and energetic personalities.

According to the zoo, Radar is big, bold and loud – while his brother, Echo, is curious and adventurous. They both love to come out during playtime and entertain the masses with their hilarious spurts of zoomies.

Fennec foxes are the smallest foxes in the Caninae or canid family, which consists of dogs, wolves, coyotes, jackals and, of course, foxes.

They are known for their “extraordinarily large ears” that are said to come in handy when hunting for prey and dispelling heat in their native desert climate.

The fennec fox originates from North Africa, specifically the Sahara Desert. While in human care, they can live up to 11 years.
