FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Wednesday morning!
Showers and storms have already worked their way across the state as a cold front draws closer. While some parts of today will look a little dry at times, we’re still not out of the woods with our chances for wet weather.
Spotty showers will continue through the morning hours. But, overall it will be a lull between our main rounds of steady rain. Going into the afternoon, scattered showers and storms will start to kick up. The scattered weather continues into the evening as a cold front makes its final pass.
Temperatures stay in the mid 80s today due to the cloudy and wet weather. Once the front moves in, northerly flow will keep us in the 80s for tomorrow as well. A few spotty showers and storms try to pop back up tomorrow, but there’ll be more sunshine to enjoy.
Heading into the end of the week and the weekend, the heat will build back in. Temperatures are in the upper 80s for Friday and the lower 90s over the weekend. There’s still the chance for a pop-up shower into the weekend, but the days will be mostly dry and sunny.
We’re still on the hot side to start off next week. Our next best chance for rain returns on Tuesday, pushing temperatures back into the upper 80s.
