A fourth person who helped a man accused of shooting two Mifflin Township police officers avoid arrest has pleaded guilty.
Au'Nusti Solomon, 21, pleaded guilty on Aug. 14 to obstructing official business, a third-degree felony.
Franklin County Common Pleas Court Judge Carl Aveni sentenced Solomon to three years of community control, commonly called probation.
According to court records, Solomon helped to arrange a location on Agler Road where 21-year-old Daveonte Dixon would be brought by people at the house he had fled to after the May 28 shooting to meet up with her and Dixon's girlfriend.
Court records say Solomon told police that when she got to the designated location, a "tall female" got into her car. She recognized the person as Dixon, who had been dressed in female clothing and makeup as a disguise, when the car's interior light came on, according to court records.
Solomon also provided information to Dixon's girlfriend about where police had been looking for Dixon, court records say.
From the Agler Road location, Solomon took Dixon to her apartment on Cedar Drive, court records say.
Solomon apologized for her actions when she was sentenced.
Three other people have also admitted to their roles in helping Dixon avoid capture for more than 36 hours. All three, 23-year-old Grace Mellon, 25-year-old Kaitlyn Mellon and 23-year-old Isaiah Ingle, also pleaded guilty to obstructing justice and received a three year community control sentence.
The two officers who were injured approved of resolving all four of the cases, according to the Franklin County Prosecutor's office. Both officers continue to recover from their injuries.
Four people continue to face charges in connection with helping Dixon avoid police.
A Franklin County grand jury indicted Dixon on Aug. 6 on charges of attempted murder and felonious assault in connection with the Mifflin Township shooting, as well as felonious assault charges for shooting at deputies on May 30 when they attempted to arrest him at an Obetz apartment.
Dixon remains hospitalized after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound during that arrest.
