Dozens of New York schools have been named some of the best in the state by ranking and review organization Niche.

Niche's 2025 Best Public High Schools list analyzes the best public high schools in New York by looking at several key factors, including state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates and teacher quality.

The following top 10 high schools in the Empire State all received an A+ grade, which are assigned based on how each school performs compared to all other schools included in the ranking, according to Niche.
