No. 3 Ohio State has named sophomore Julian Sayin as its starting quarterback for the 2025-26 season opener versus Texas on Aug. 30.

Head coach Ryan Day made the announcement on Monday.

Sayin, 20, transferred to Ohio State after initially enrolling early with Alabama for the 2023-24 season.
