The Indianapolis Colts have named Daniel Jones their starting quarterback, according to multiple reports. Jones had been in a training-camp competition with Anthony Richardson, who started 11 games for Indianapolis last season.
The Colts signed Jones on a one-year deal in March after he was benched and then released by the Giants last November. He spent the rest of the 2024 season with the Minnesota Vikings but did not see the field.
