Aston Martin debuts nine-unit Thrillseeker Collection and shows production Valhalla as it marks 75 years in the Americas at Monterey.

Aston Martin opened Monterey Car Week with a trio of bespoke convertibles built to commemorate the brand’s 75th anniversary in the Americas, unveiling the limited “Thrillseeker Collection” ahead of broader festivities at Pebble Beach.

Shown Thursday at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, the Thrillseeker cars were configured by Q by Aston Martin and finished to echo the changing light over Carmel Bay. The set comprises a Vantage Roadster in Mako Blue meant to evoke dawn, a DB12 Volante in Seychelles Blue for the energy of afternoon sun, and a Vanquish Volante in Ultramarine Black to capture dusk. Each wears bronze wheels and side strakes, a bronze rotary center dial in the cabin, and comes with a color-matched luggage set intended to “evoke the amber sun of the Pacific Coast,” the company said.

Aston Martin will build nine examples across the three-model series. The brand said all units are allocated, with customer deliveries slated to begin in the fourth quarter.

The anniversary showcase coincides with a heavy presence for the marque during the weeklong events on the Monterey Peninsula. The production-spec Valhalla — the company’s first plug-in hybrid and its first series-production, mid-engine supercar with electric-only range — is appearing both at The Quail and on the Pebble Beach Concept Lawn. Aston Martin has also organized a private hospitality villa near Spyglass Hill, where invited guests can view the Thrillseeker trio, the Valhalla, and recently introduced DBX S and Vantage S models.

The Thrillseeker Collection is framed as a celebration of open-air driving as much as a nod to the brand’s history. While Aston Martin Lagonda traces its founding to 1913, the company is marking 75 years of continuous operations in the Americas in 2025. Executives said the three-car set was conceived for Monterey’s global stage, where bespoke paintwork and limited-run specifications often preview future personalization themes.

Technical details for the Thrillseeker cars mirror their respective series models, with the emphasis here placed on curation and finish rather than powertrain changes. The Vantage Roadster and DB12 Volante are positioned as the brand’s current front-engine, rear-drive sporting convertibles, while the Vanquish Volante reflects the company’s broader GT identity. Pricing for the nine-unit collection was not disclosed.

With the anniversary specials already sold and the Valhalla nearing production, Aston Martin enters Car Week with a split message: exclusivity for collectors who favor coachbuilt details, and a technology-forward halo meant to anchor its mid-decade lineup. The Monterey outing, the company said, is intended to underline both.
