Nichols Cars unveils its Can-Am-inspired N1A at Pebble Beach while confirming first customer cars are now being built.
Nichols Cars marked its first appearance in the United States at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, unveiling the production-ready N1A sports car before an international audience of collectors and enthusiasts. The British manufacturer also confirmed that its first customer cars have entered production.

The N1A, displayed in ICON 88 launch specification, is designed as a modern tribute to the raw power and lightweight focus of the Can-Am racing era. At just 900 kilograms, the two-seater couples minimalist engineering with advanced composite materials, offering a blend of old-school racing inspiration and present-day performance standards.
Company founder Steve Nichols, an engineer known for his Formula 1 successes, has emphasized that the N1A was conceived to honor the spirit of 1960s Can-Am machines while providing a thoroughly modern driving experience. The ICON 88 edition signals the start of a limited series, aimed at enthusiasts seeking both historical significance and cutting-edge craftsmanship.

By choosing Pebble Beach for its American debut, Nichols Cars positioned itself on one of the automotive world’s most prominent stages. The announcement that builds are already in progress signals a clear intent to establish the N1A not only as a showpiece but as a car soon to be in the hands of owners.
