NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A group of bikers are riding for a good cause in Connecticut and around the world.
Members of Bikers Against Child Abuse, or B.A.C.A., exists with the intent to create a safer environment for abused children, according to their website.
Members of the organization go through more than a year of training before meeting with children who have been victims of abuse. Each child who gets support from the organization has two members whom they can contact 24/7 if they are in need of help.
Bikers accompany children to court dates, wait with them at bus stops, provide rides on their motorcycles and more.
Watch Nyberg’s interview with three local B.A.C.A. members on News 8 at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
