As fall and spooky season inch closer, the ghosts of Spirit Halloween begin to trickle into vacant business storefronts.
Spirit Halloween is starting to open storefronts to prepare for the Halloween season with over 1,500 locations opening nationwide.
"The opening of Spirit Halloween stores signals the start of something special for our guests and our dedicated team that works year-round to reach this moment," wrote Spirit Halloween chief executive officer Steven Silverstein in a news release.

When does Spirit Halloween open in Florida?
Brick-and-mortar Spirit Halloween stores start opening in August. Some have even been reported to open as early as July. Many in Florida already are open for the 2025 Halloween season.
Most stores usually close within the first week of November, but "die-hard Halloween enthusiasts" also can shop online year-round.
Spirit Halloween in Port St. Lucie, Vero Beach, Fort Pierce, Jensen Beach
Spirit Halloween will be opening at the following locations:
Jensen Beach, former Party City, 4189 N.W. Federal Highway
Hours: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Port St. Lucie, former American Freight, 7121 U.S. 1
