Delta Airlines adds new nonstop flight from Kansas City to Austin

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A new non-stop flight is landing at the Kansas City International Airport next summer.

Delta is launching new nonstop service between Austin–Bergstrom International Airport and KCI, beginning June 7, 2026.

According to a spokesperson for the airline, the new route is part of Delta’s broader investment in Austin, connecting Central Texas to key business and leisure destinations nationwide.

Next summer, there will be twice-daily flights to Kansas City. Delta noted Kansas City’s rich culture, barbecue, and growing innovation economy.

Delta also added flights from Austin to Denver and Columbus. Flights will be operated by Delta Connection partner SkyWest.
