A new shopping plaza will be opening in Port St. Lucie's Southern Grove with Lowe's as one of the confirmed retailers.
Lowe's will be a 134,000-square-foot store with a garden center attached, according to an Aug. 21, 2025, news release from Banyan Development. It is slated to open in 2026.
Plans for the Shoppes at Southern Grove show there will be six additional outparcels. Developers are in negotiations with national retailers to bring their businesses to the new plaza, according to the news release.

These six additional outparcels include the following:
Gas station: 5,915 square feet
Outparcel A: 1.2 acres
Outparcel B: 1.14 acres
Outparcel C: 1.83 acres
Outparcel D: 1.04 acres
Outparcel E: 1.02 acres

Shoppes at Southern Grove is located at the intersection of Southwest Becker Road and Southwest Village Parkway, near Interstate 95 and Becker Road.
This will be the fifth Lowe's on the Treasure Coast, with one each in St. Lucie and Indian River counties and two in Martin County.
