A lottery player bought a winning Powerball ticket worth $2 million from Gas N More in Mobridge.

The winning ticket matched five of five winning numbers in the Aug. 23 Powerball drawing, but it did not match the Powerball, the South Dakota Lottery said in a news release. The player doubled their second prize by purchasing the Power Play add-on.

The Powerball win is South Dakota's second multimillion-dollar lottery prize in less than three weeks. A player purchased a winning Lotto America ticket for the Aug. 6 drawing worth $4 million from the Freedom Valu Center in Vermillion.
