COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Supreme Court of Ohio is celebrating the contributions of women to the Buckeye State’s legal history.
There is a new women in law exhibit at the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center.
It’s a partnership with other organizations, including the Ohio State Bar Association.
Event organizers said the exhibit is not just about celebrating the contributions of women to Ohio law, but also to motivate and inspire young Ohioans who may be considering the legal field.
“There’s been a tremendous amount of excitement about this, but particularly inside this building,” Supreme Court of Ohio Administrative Director Bob Horner said. “It’s certainly been a labor of love for many people inside this building, myself included, as we look to gather information about these important contributions.”
The Supreme Court said anyone interested in viewing the exhibit can schedule a tour through the Civic Education Office.
