The National Guard has been in DC for almost three weeks now.

The Washington Post is reporting that the soldiers have new tasks. They're now performing landscaping and sanitation duties.

People are calling it the "Worst recruiting ad ever."

Other people joked, "So much crime fighting going on."

A bunch of people are fixated on the camo/bright safety vest combo.

"Obsessed with them wearing the reflective vests over the camouflage."

But most people are essentially saying it's messed up that these individuals had to leave their families just to act as "Trump's sanitation crew."

"Imagine joining the national guard and then being told to pickup trash in an orange vest like a prisoner in a chain gang," one person wrote.

Another person said, "Imagine spending months and months training to be the most lethal warrior ever only to be sent to DC to pick up trash."

And this person summed it up: "Bright orange vests over camouflage is the perfect visual metaphor for this administration."
