Ohio State marching band getting a uniform upgrade

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – The Ohio State University Marching Band is getting an upgrade to its uniforms starting with Saturday’s season opener.

While it’s not a redesign, these are the first brand-new uniforms for the Best Damn Band In The Land in 20 years.

The new uniforms will maintain the band’s iconic look, but there is one big change: instead of being made out of wool, they’re made out of polyester.

Band staff members have been hard at work making sure the uniforms are ready for Saturday, spending the last week or so hemming all 240 uniforms.
