Goodwill North Central Texas has unveiled a new online training program, offering a Google AI Essentials course at no cost to the community, thanks to support from Google.org.
The initiative, launched to help job seekers adapt to an AI-driven workforce, is open to all, including Goodwill employees and those utilizing the nonprofit’s career support services.
The course, valued at $49, provides approximately six hours of practical, hands-on training through videos, readings, and exercises, teaching participants how to utilize generative AI in their daily work tasks effectively. Applicable across various industries, the program awards a Google certificate upon completion. Globally, 86% of graduates report improved productivity or efficiency, while over 80% note enhanced job performance.
Registration is available via the 2025 Digital Career Accelerator’s Google AI Essentials Training Request form.
