On the same day Hulk Hogan died, former WWE boss Vince McMahon crashed his Bentley big time in Connecticut. In fact, the wreck happened just a few hours before the shocking news of Hogan’s passing hit the news.
Remembering when Hulk Hogan rescued a driver after a rollover crash.
Likely the two events have nothing to do with each other, but it’s a curious coincidence for sure. According to TMZ, which pulled the crash report, McMahon was traveling north on Rout 15 in Westport when he slammed into the back of a 2023 BMW 430i with his 2024 Bentley Continental GT Speed.
How exactly he managed that isn’t clear, but the Bentley then hit the guardrail in the median, scraping along it for about 30 feet. Images shared by TMZ show the Bentley sustained heavy damage on both front fenders and on its driver-side rear corner.
Pieces of the two cars from that violent collision went flying into the opposing lane of traffic, since it’s a two-lane highway, and a Ford Fusion going southbound ran into it, causing signifcant damage.
From the looks of it, the luxury car is a goner. Considering how much McMahon made during his tenure with the WWE, we think he can afford to get another.
All three cars involved in the crash had to be towed from the scene. McMahon was cited for the crash for following too closely and reckless driving. He gets to explain himself in court next month, which will be super fun.
TMZ says McMahon’s representatives have stayed quiet about the crash.
McMahon resigned from his position with the WWE, which he founded, back in 2022 as he was under investigation for sexual misconduct. Last year he resigned from TKO Group Holdings, parent company of the WWE, after serving as executive chairman, one day after a lawsuit for sexual abuse was filed against him by a former employee.
He’s currently separated from his spouse, Linda, who currently serves as the Secretary of Education in the Trump administration.
