PENNSYLVANIA (WTAJ) — The National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation has submitted its annual adjustment that is set to go into effect on August 1.
The adjustment, which was submitted to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, is set to increase the typical monthly bill for customers with usage of 96,500 cubic feet by over $9. Bills that are typically $78.21 are now estimated to be $87.78.
National Fuel shared that the increase is due to higher market prices for natural gas, but added that supply costs are passed along to customers with no markup for profit. The adjustment is $1.19 higher than it was projected to be last December.
