In any case, we rounded up all the cars you won’t want to miss, so keep reading.

The 1965 Ferrari 275 GTS is just about as classic as it gets. A successor of the 250 GT, the 275 has independent front and rear suspension and a Pininfarina body, making it the ultimate Ferrari grand tourer. Only 200 examples of the GTS Spider were built; this one is chassis 07465. Of course, it has all the ideal sixties Ferrari specs: a 3,285 CC Tipo 213 SOHC V-12 Engine, an owner’s manual, tool roll, Ferrari Classiche certification, and Massini report. It also underwent a concours-level restoration performed by the renowned DK engineering, and is finished in its breathtaking original colors. Sounds like a win to us!

A more modern, but equally stunning option is the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT from the Bethel Collection. Known widely as Porsche’s analog supercar, this beauty features a 605 HP V-10 and a manual gearbox with the potential for lots of sporty fun. It’s one of only 1,270 built, and one of just 644 delivered for the US market. Most enticingly, this GT is finished in its classic color scheme of GT Silver Metallic over Dark Grey leather, and displays just 7,652 miles at the time of cataloguing. Music to our Porsche-loving ears.

These no-reserve picks are not your average deal. You can find coveted cars like the 1964 Aston Martin DB with a 4,235 CC DOHC alloy inline 6-cylinder engine (matching numbers, per its BMIHT certificate). Plus, the car has already undergone a photo-documented, over-2,600-hour rotisserie restoration—all it needs is a driver.

Or take the 1966 Ferrari 330 GTC, another legendary Ferrari find finished in its original color combination of Argento with Nero leather interior. Known as the Connoisseur’s Ferrari, the 330 merged elegant, understated Pininfarina styling with a transaxle and V-12. This model also underwent an extensive restoration overseen by marque experts, and is Classiche-certified as one of the best-driving Ferrari road cars of the era. Fabulous!

There’s more fantastic Ferrari where that came from, such as the 1961 Ferrari 250 GTE Series I, an outstanding example of Ferrari’s first four-seat grand tourer. It was extensively restored under its current ownership and has yet to be exhibited at a major concours—so you could do the honors! The crazy rare 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SC Roadster is one of just 53 hand-built examples, and features extensive documentation, fitted luggage, owners manuals, its toolkit, and a fascinating provenance. With a 2,996 CC SOHC inline 6-cylinder engine and Bosch fuel injection, this Roadster is ready for some touring.

If you’re seeking some Italo-American vibes in your life, the 1968 Iso Grifo Series I has the most gorgeous Giugiaro styling, a Bizzarrini chassis, and V-8 power to boot. Perfect for summer rallies, the car is finished in elegant silver metallic over tan leather and equipped with air-conditioning. The rare 1954 Chrysler GS Special with coachwork by Ghia beautifully combines American might with European styling, and its thorough 10-year restoration ensures a spot on any tour or Concours lawn.

Amazingly, this sale is even offering supercars at no reserve, such as the 2022 Ferrari F8 Spider, the final mid-engine V-8 from Ferrari with just 1,892 miles at the time of cataloging. Rounding things out, the 2005 Ford GT is the sixth production in an iconic livery, and gets its speed from a 5,409 CC DOHC supercharged V-8. Super all around.
These no-reserve icons and many other great cars will cross the auction block in a few short weeks at Gooding Christie’s Pebble Beach Auctions on August 15th and 16th. In the meantime, you can flip through their catalogue here or register to bid if we’ve really piqued your interest.
