Communities across the U.S. are gathering on Aug. 2 for a National Day of Action for "Rage Against the Regime" protests.
"On this day, we come together to transform anger into action, harnessing the energy of collective resistance," say Rage Against the Regime organizers.
The demonstrations, expected to take place in all 50 states, are the latest series of peaceful protests against the current administration's actions.

In Louisiana, there will be a "Good Trouble Rage Against the Regime" protest in Lafayette on Saturday, Aug. 2. The demonstration will take place at 735 Jefferson St. from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
The protests are a part of the 50501 Movement, which is a non-violent organization that has a strict no-weapons policy for events.
The name of this movement is a play on the name of the American rock band "Rage Against the Machine," as well as an expression of public frustration.

The movement is expecting tens of thousands of participants across the U.S., protesting various issues, including the Trump Administration's policies on immigration, LGBTQ+ rights, cuts to government programs and the handling of the Epstein files.
