Young ambassador program looks to beautify New Mexico

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The Land of Enchantment Young Ambassador program is looking for students entering their junior or senior year of high school for the 2025 – 2026 school year. The selected ambassadors will help clean up New Mexico and enhance its natural beauty.

Pecos All-American Cheerleaders to represent New Mexico on global stage

Selected ambassadors will be young people who want to take leadership to educate and empower their community to be free of litter. The ambassadors will participate throughout the school year to organize community projects and work with peers on a statewide leadership and engagement project. The committee will select two ambassadors from six designated regional areas. Each ambassador will receive a $3,000 stipend after completed the fellowship and projects. Ambassadors will get training in project management and experience leading projects. The chosen students will be partnered with a beautification community organization in their area.
