The 2025 Genesis G70 lease provides sports sedan thrills at a price you’ll love
Seven years after its introduction and three years after a modest facelift, the 2025 Genesis G70 is a known quantity. It’s a relative upstart in the sports sedan world when compared to its German competition, yet it possesses this archetype’s essential elements. It’s compact, taut, and athletic, with a confident, upright grille and no pretension. Inside, the lack of artifice continues. There’s no attempt to transform the cabin into something it’s not. At the same time, there’s none of the sterility so typical of lower-priced sports sedans from other competitors. A 10.3-inch infotainment touchscreen comes standard along with CarPlay and Android Auto.

There’s a choice of drivelines, of course. The 2.5T has a 300-horsepower turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, while pricier 3.3T models get a 365-horsepower twin-turbo 3.3-liter V-6. Both mate to an eight-speed automatic transmission with standard rear-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. In addition, the 3.3T comes with an electronically controlled adaptive suspension. A manual transmission is unfortunately not offered –something that’s sadly common these days. No, the rear seat isn’t the roomiest, but it does come with standard Brembo brakes. If you’re a true enthusiast, you’ll spend your time in the front, where the magic happens. Still, there’s much to like about the Genesis G70, particularly if you’re looking for an affordable sports sedan lease.
The 2025 Genesis G70 lease deal for August 2025
You can lease a rear-wheel-drive 2025 G70 2.5T with an MSRP of $43,895 (including destination, but excluding options and other fees) for $419 per month for 36 months and 30,000 miles with $3,999 due at lease signing. The offer ends September 2, 2025, and includes a $4,000 Genesis lease cash incentive and a $1,000 dealer contribution, resulting in a net capitalized cost of $35,831, including a $750 acquisition fee. Figures do not include tax, title, license, registration, documentation fees, options, insurance, or other fees. The disposition fee is $400 for most states. If you don’t have the cash to put down, it will cost you around $518 per month, and you will still have to pay the first month’s $419, of course.
Keep in mind that, when leasing, consider the monthly payment cost, taxes, and fees before signing. Lease offers vary by metro market. Check your local pricing on the official Genesis website.

Final thoughts
This lease is a small premium to pay for a sports sedan with manners that will delight you every time you take the wheel. It’s also substantially less than a plain Jane BMW 3 Series lease, and a modest premium over that of something far more plebian – like a Toyota Camry. But you weren’t thinking of leasing one of those, right? Yes, we admit, it’s not the freshest design, but it still offers a license to thrill.
