GAUTIER, Miss. (WJTV) – Students heading back to class on the Mississippi Coast had a surprise guest when they arrived.
According to Gautier Elementary School officials, an alligator was spotted outside the school building on August 5.

They said the Gautier Police Department responded to the school to make sure students and parents were safe during the morning drop-off.
