Retailers have already begun stocking "Summerween" décor, and Spirit Halloween, the seasonal giant known for its pop-up stores, is preparing to haunt locations across Alabama once again, taking over vacant storefronts across the state, breathing eerie new life into former retail spaces like Party City, Bargain Hunt and Joann Fabrics.

The Halloween retailers are expected to open 1,500 locations across North America in 2025.
