SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A large police presence is working a reported domestic disturbance in the area of Barnes and Cairo Wednesday morning.
According to Springfield police, officers responded to the residence just after 6 a.m. for reports of shots fired into the ground. The situation led to a large police presence due to the number of people involved.
One subject has been arrested and booked for domestic assault. Multiple others were detained at the scene, but have since been released, SPD says.
