On Sept. 23, 2024, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol attempted to make a traffic stop on Scudder’s vehicle before he fled through multiple communities into Arkansas, where Arkansas State Police continued the pursuit.
Holmes said Scudder wrecked his vehicle on Highway 64 in Alma near the Alma Primary School, just minutes before school was released.
Officials said more than 240 pounds of methamphetamine and two pounds of fentanyl were seized following the pursuit.
Holmes said Scudder was a habitual offender who had more than 10 previous felony convictions in different states.
