These three SUV concepts will appeal to totally different fans
Monterey Car Week is about to begin, and many automakers will be fighting for attention with production car launches, new concepts, and much more. Infiniti wants a piece of the action, too, and has announced that it will be bringing no less than three SUV concepts to the event. All have been teased in new images.
One will be the QX65 Monograph concept, which will showcase the next phase of the company’s Artistry in Motion design language. The other two concepts are based on the flagship QX80, and hint at specialized performance and off-road versions of the three-row SUV.
QX65 Monograph

Infiniti released only one image of the QX65 Monograph, showing off a slatted grille design that flows seamlessly into the daytime running lights. The grille and Infiniti logo appear to be illuminated. Beyond this, the image doesn’t give anything else away.
However, we found another pre-production image of the QX65 on the Infiniti site. The brand has confirmed this will be a two-row midsize crossover that draws inspiration from the Infiniti FX. The FX is considered one of the first coupe-SUVs with its sporty, sloping roofline, and the QX65 looks very much the same, based on the pre-production image.

Expected to be positioned above the QX55, the QX65 will rival luxury coupe-SUVs like the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. The QX65 Monograph will debut at The Quail on Friday, August 15.
QX80 Track Spec And QX80 Terrain Spec

Infiniti just unveiled the 2026 QX80, which has gained a new Sport trim with a blacked-out interior and exterior. But these two new QX80 concepts go a lot further.
The QX80 Track Spec is presumably a sportier version of the SUV tuned for peak on-road performance. In the teaser, not much is visible, but it does seem to have a sportier front splitter and sit lower to the ground. If this one makes it to production, we expect it to be an upscale version of the Nissan Armada Nismo. The Nissan has a more powerful 460-horsepower engine and sport-tuned suspension and steering. Similar changes would make sense for the QX80 Track Spec.

The QX80 Terrain Spec is aimed at off-road junkies. In the teaser, this one features a protective skid plate, a roof rack, and an auxiliary light bar. Its increased ride height is also apparent. Given that there is no off-road-focused QX80, this would be a unique addition to the lineup.
“Boldly reimagined QX80 Track Spec and QX80 Terrain Spec concepts show incredible breadth of capability for Infiniti’s flagship SUV,” said the company in a statement.
The QX80 concepts will be shown alongside the QX65 Monograph.
