
Did someone win the $451 million Powerball jackpot on August 6? No, but one lucky Ohioan might be walking away a millionaire.
No one won the Powerball jackpot, which has now risen to more than $480 million, but a winning Match 5 $1 million prize ticket was sold in Ohio, Powerball announced. Three other winners in California, New Jersey and New York also hold a ticket worth $1 million.
Ohio Lottery officials say the winning auto-pick ticket was sold at a Circle K in Seville, Ohio, Fox 8 reports. The village sits along Interstate 76 roughly 23 miles west of Akron and about 45 miles south of Cleveland.

The Powerball jackpot has grown to $482 million, with a cash value of $219 million, as of August 7. The next drawing is on Saturday, August 9, at 10:59 p.m. ET.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET. Drawings are broadcast live at those times and live-streamed on the Powerball website.
How to play Powerball
Want to try your luck? Once you purchase your ticket, you'll pick six numbers. Five of them will be white balls with numbers from 1 to 69. The red Powerball ranges from 1 to 26. Participants can also add a “Power Play” for $1, which increases the winning for all non-jackpot prizes.
How to claim a winning Powerball ticket in Ohio
The Ohio Lottery says you should take these steps if you win a jackpot. Powerball tickets do expire, and in Ohio, you must claim your prize within 180 days of the drawing date.
You must have the original winning ticket to claim your prize.
Powerball tickets purchased in Ohio can only be cashed in Ohio.
When you win the jackpot, you will be able to select either 30 annual payments or the cash option.
If you win up to $599: Present your ticket to any Ohio Lottery retailer for validation and immediate prize payment.
Winnings from $600 to $5,000: Present your ticket to any Ohio Lottery retailer for validation and receive a pay-to-bearer receipt and a claim form for check processing, OR present the pay-to-bearer receipt and completed claim form to an authorized bank cashing location and receive payment the same day.
Over $5,000: Present your ticket to an Ohio Lottery office for validation and check processing.
You must validate and cash your winning ticket within 180 days of the drawing date.
