
GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – On Friday night, a man from Florida was arrested in northeast Wisconsin after he allegedly shot a woman in the chest at a Grand Chute hotel.
Officers with the Grand Chute Police Department say they responded to a hotel in the 1000 block of South Westland Drive around 9:50 p.m. on August 8, for reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, authorities found a 42-year-old woman with a single gunshot wound to the chest. She was taken to a local hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.
Officers say a 47-year-old man from Florida was taken into custody and booked into the Outagamie County Jail on ‘several charges.’
It was not specifically stated whether or not the suspect was taken into custody at the scene, or what the ‘several charges’ were.
