UPDATE: KCPD says the man was located safe around 4:30 p.m.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Police Department is asking for help locating an 81-year-old man.
Police searching for 78-year-old man last seen in KCMO: MSHP
According to KCPD, Mbugua Njoroe was last seen on West 61st Terrace in KCMO around 9 a.m. His family says they’re worried, as he’s diagnosed with several conditions requiring attention. One of those conditions is dementia.
Njoroe is a black man with gray hair. He stands about 5’7″ tall and weighs around 170 pounds. It’s unknown what he’s wearing.
