This 2020 Bugatti Divo will be auctioned through Bonhams|Cars without reserve.

With only two owners since new, the car has been driven an average of less than 160 miles per year since originally purchased.

The example on offer was featured in the “Hypercars: The Allure of the Extreme” exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.

Bonhams|Cars gives this Divo an estimated value between $7 million and $9 million.

The example being auctioned shows 777 miles on it in total.

To realize the Divo’s enhanced level of athleticism over the Bugatti Chiron, its chassis, steering, and suspension were fine-tuned for greater responsiveness, and aerodynamic improvements included new front and rear diffusors and a wider, adjustable rear spoiler.

The seat backs are emblazoned with the likeness of the Bugatti Royale’s elephant-styled hood ornament, which was originally sculpted by marque founder Ettore Bugatti’s son Rembrandt.

With its tremendous output coming from an 8.0-liter, quad-turbo W16 engine with 1,180 ft lbs of torque, the Divo has been engineered with a focus on cornering, which is why its top speed has been “limited” to a still staggering 236 mph.

“Here at Bonhams|Cars, we are delighted to be the first auction house globally to bring to market one of the rarest hypercars ever produced, the Bugatti Divo,” says Bonhams specialist Louis Frankel. “It is incredibly rare that anyone ever has the opportunity to see one, let alone purchase one, so being able to bring this car to market is hugely exciting.”
