A search is underway for a missing Nebraska man in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Family members reported Blake Kieckhafer, 23, of Omaha, Nebraska, missing Aug. 11, according to a Rocky Mountain National Park news release. Kieckhafer was last seen about 5:20 p.m. Aug. 7 when he was dropped off by a rideshare service in the Upper Beaver Meadows area of the park, about 1 mile west of the Beaver Meadows Entrance along U.S. Highway 36 on the east side of the park.

Kieckhafer was last seen wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, dark-colored pants and a dark-colored baseball hat with no logo, according to the park. He was carrying a small maroon daypack. Kieckhafer is 5’11” and 180 pounds with blue/green eyes, buzzed or short blonde hair, and a mustache.

Rocky Mountain National Park rangers are actively searching for Kieckhafer.
