MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — An armored car was robbed in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, and police said they are looking for two suspects.
Cheltenham Township Police in Montgomery County said a Brinks Armored Car was robbed while it was at the H-Mart grocery store at 7300 Old York Road in the Elkins Park section of the township just before 10:30 a.m.
The suspects were able to get a large amount of U.S. currency before escaping the area in a black Acura TLX, headed westbound on Cheltenham Ave and then into Philadelphia, police said. The vehicle was recovered in West Philadelphia.

In an interview with 6abc in Philadelphia, Cheltenham Police say between $700,000 and $800,000 in cash was taken.
One of the suspects was armed with an AR-15-style pistol and in the other hand a handgun. Police said the driver of the armored car also had their handgun stolen.

Police said no one was injured during the robbery and the investigation is ongoing.
