Even your average non-car person would be astounded to see this unique Ford Mustang pickup truck build. It’s so visually arresting, with pony car’s front seamlessly integrated into a single cab pickup, that it’s enough to make you do more than a doubletake. After all, it looks good enough to be a factory job, even though you know it isn’t.
This Mercedes 300SL Gullwing is another wild build.
The owner fabricated this unique ride starting with a 1955 Ford F100. He grafted the classic truck’s body to the chassis of a 2007 Ford Mustang GT. When he says that, it’s with almost a nonchalant attitude, like it’s almost a common practice.

But it’s obviously not and the process of joining the two disparate vehicles into one that looks so clean and intentional is obviously far more involved.
Inside the cab, the seats and dash are from the Mustang. However, the rest of it comes from the F100, only reskinned to match the muscle car’s interior better, at least to an extent. But the original door handles, window cranks, etc. are still present.
However, the vehicle not only has power steering and brakes, it features air conditioning. Considering this is a ride that only comes out when the weather is hot, that’s a nice feature.

When the builder was asked during an interview with car YouTube channel Magnacars why he drives such a creation, the guy had a simple answer: “because it looks cool.” Considering he executed the aesthetic with a keen precision, we agree.
He also said Gene Simmons’ truck called Snakebit was his inspiration. That build caused waves at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, grafting a 1956 Ford F100 and Shelby GT500 together. Obviously, a build like that would cost so much more, but in a way we enjoy the look of this one more.
