Acura is adding a second electric SUV to its lineup, but this one was developed entirely in-house. The RSX prototype previews that new model, which will enter production in the second half of 2026.
The RSX prototype's face is very similar to the Acura Performance EV Concept that debuted at the 2024 Pebble Beach.

The full-width taillight is said to be an homage to the second-generation Acura NSX.

The black-painted roof contrasts with the electric SUV's brightly colored Propulsion Yellow Pearl Paint.

While we don't yet know how powerful it is, Acura says the RSX will feature dual electric motors that provide all-wheel drive.

The narrow daylight running lights look menacing, and they sit above the actual headlights below.

These 21-inch wheels have an intricate design, and the red Brembo brake calipers peeking through the spokes help provide stopping power.

You'll be able to notice Acura's logo even if it's pitch black because it's an illuminated piece.

Instead of the typical caliper tool that looks like the letter "A," Acura is spelled out on the SUV's rear liftgate.

The production version of the RSX will come standard with a NACS charge port, and the EV offers bi-directional charging too.

The prototype will look pretty close to the production car, which will debut sometime in 2026 before it goes on sale in the second half of the year.
