WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Galles Marine will close Aug. 16 in Wisconsin Rapids.
The business, which sells boats, motors, parts and provides service for watercrafts, announced Aug. 14 on its Facebook page it will close its doors at noon Saturday, Aug. 16, at 2321 Eighth St. S.
In the announcement, Galles Marine thanked everyone for the decades of support and love customers and the community have shown the business and directed customers to contact Rapids Prop and Marine for future storage, new boats and motors.
Rapids Prop and Marine operates at 1249 Anchor Landing Drive in Biron.
According to its website, Galles Marine started in 1939 in the garage of Ed Galles and continued to expand as a family-run business throughout the years. This year marked 86 years in business for Galles Marine.
