Ferguson's Minnesota Harvest opens for the season with new attractions and food originally appeared on Bring Me The News.
Ferguson's Minnesota Harvest, part of a group of three orchards in Minnesota and western Wisconsin, is opening for the season in a sure sign that fall isn't too far off.
Ferguson's Minnesota Harvest in Jordan opened Saturday, Aug. 16, kicking off a season filled with apple and pumpkin-picking, along with fall-themed activities like its corn maze and market with apple cider donuts.

“We’re on track to welcome our two-millionth visitor this fall, and that milestone speaks to the powerful connection families feel when they visit our farms,” says Andy Ferguson, co-owner of Ferguson’s Orchards.
This year, the orchard has expanded its offerings to include an interactive paintball gallery, as well as a bolstered food and dessert lineup.
Those are being added to the more than 30 attractions it already offers, including the cow train, corn pit, duck races, wagon rides, and pumpkin jumping pads.
The food lineup now includes fresh pizzas (with a gluten-free option), cider floats, and apple-inspired sundaes.
Ferguson's Orchards in Eau Claire, Wis., also opens on Aug. 16, and the company's third orchard, located in Galesville, Wis., will open on Aug. 23.
Admission to Ferguson's Minnesota Harvest is $18 per person throughout the season, which lasts until Nov. 2. Children under 2 are free.
