Where is the best place to live according to U.S. News & World Report?
Johns Creek, Georgia, outside of Atlanta, was named the top place to live. The median income in the community if $163,653. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, and the median home price is $528,234.
Carmel, Indiana, was second. Pearland, Texas, was third. Fishers, Indiana, was fourth. Cary, North Carolina, was fifth.
All five communities had scores of 7 on a scale of 10.
Where is the best place to live in Delaware?
U.S. News & World Report didn't ignore the First State. It listed Delaware's best places to live.
Wilmington was named the best place to live in Delaware with a score of 4.7. It's also the 710th best place to live in the country. The median household income in Wilmington is $58,092. The unemployment rate here is 7.76%. The median home value is $243,190.
Dover was the second-best place to live in Delaware and the 881st best place to live in the country with a score of 4.4 out of 10. The median household income in Dover is $55,429, and the unemployment rate is 7.69%. The median home value in Dover is $262,273.
