Update: Laya Strain was found safe.
OLD TOWN, Fla. (WFLA) — A missing child alert has been issued for a 2-month-old who went missing on Saturday.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Tallahassee, Layla Strain was last seen in the area of the 300 block of Northeast 293rd Avenue in Old Town.
She has brown hair and hazel eyes and is 1 foot 11 inches tall. She weighs 12 pounds.
Layla was last seen wearing a pink one piece.
Authorities say she may be in the company of Sara Strain.
Sara Strain is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 160 pounds. She has blond hair and blue eyes.
Sara may have traveled to the Gilchrist County Florida area.
