A northern Minnesota fire department is mourning one of its members, a 26-year-old woman, who died in an ATV crash over the weekend.

"At this time we don't have the words to say other than thank you and rest in peace," the Cherry Fire Department in St. Louis County wrote on Facebook. "Tia, (Tinker Bell) you will be truly missed. Our hearts as a department are hurting."

According to the Gilbert Police Department, Tia Muller, of Chisholm, died after she became pinned underneath an ATV sometime Friday at the Iron Range Off Highway Vehicle State Recreation Area.

According to police, the crash scene was discovered just before 10:30 a.m. Saturday by another ATV group.

The driver of the ATV, 25-year-old Jonathan Muller, was airlifted to a Duluth hospital with serious injuries.
