The Porsche Taycan is the winner of our latest EV of the Year award, and for good reason. Scroll down to see it in detail.
Porsche's electric Taycan continues to wow us, and the changes made for 2025 put it over the top to win EV of the Year.

In its initial outing, the Taycan's meh range had helped it to a second-place finish, just behind the Ford Mustang Mach-E.

But now, with beefier batteries, better charging times, and a whole host of trims and powertrains on offer, the Taycan represents a lineup that's hard to beat.
Sure, you could have it as a wagon, but then you'd miss out on this Turbo GT, which achieves a sub-two-second sprint to 60 mph.

But yes, we're quite partial to the Sport and Cross Turismo variants and their extended rear ends.

Keep going to check out even more pictures of the 2025 Porsche Taycan.
