LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Soldiers with the Arkansas National Guard attended sniper school training on Aug. 6 in Little Rock’s Camp Robinson.
Guard officials said training included constructing camouflaged ghillie suits and long-range marksmanship practice as part of the sniper training program.
Part of the exercise included crawling with rifles while camouflaged to avoid detection by instructors, including those watching from drones flying overhead. Officials said this was an opportunity to work on concealment techniques.
