CONNECTICUT (WTNH) — Connecticut landed low on WalletHub’s newly released list of “most fun states in America.”
To make the ranking, their analysts compared two main categories- entertainment and recreation, and nightlife.
Connecticut public schools named second-best in US
Each category got an overall rank by averaging about a dozen different metrics. The entertainment category looked at factors like number of attractions, ideal weather, and restaurants per capita.
The nightlife category took into account things like time of last call at bars, the average beer and wine price, and movie costs.
Coming in 43rd overall, the Constitution State ranked 40 in entertainment and recreation and 50 in nightlife.

At the top of the list of most fun states was California, followed by Florida, Nevada, Illinois and New York.
The bottom of the list included West Virginia at 50, with Mississippi, Rhode Island, Delaware and Arkansas ranking just above it.
