St. Elizabeth Edgewood ranked No. 1 in Kentucky, according to U.S. News & World Report's best hospitals ranking.

U.S. News & World Report published its ranking of the best hospitals nationwide, and St. Elizabeth Edgewood ranked No. 1 in Kentucky.

The outlet uses hospital performance metrics such as risk-adjusted mortality rates and preventable complications to evaluate more than 4,400 hospitals this year.
