ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (WGN) — Police are investigating a crash involving a motorcycle on Illinois Route 53 in Arlington Heights that sent at least one person to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Illinois State Police, the crash involved a motorcycle and a dump track and happened at 12:20 p.m. on southbound Route 53, just north of Palatine Road.
ISP says one person has been transported to an area hospital. Their condition was not provided.
Two southbound lanes will be closed for an “extended period of time.” ISP is asking motorists to slow down and move over as they approach the area.
No additional information has been provided.
