Nip/Tuck Actor Dylan Walsh Suffers Serious Car Crash

Hollywood actor and Nip/Tuck star Dylan Walsh was in a serious car accident after his Ford Explorer hit two utility poles. Even worse, he was with four family members in the vehicle at the time, with multiple people injured.

Crash with an elk kills former Miss Universe.

This incident is even more shocking after Nip/Tuck co-star Julian McMahon died of cancer at the beginning of July, leaving fans of the TV show in mourning.

The single-vehicle crash happened in Rumson, New Jersey on August 17 when the Ford SUV suddenly veered into the oncoming lane, hitting one and then another utility pole.

It’s not clear if Walsh, who is 61, was driving at the time of the crash or if it was a family member. We also don’t know from a TMZ report if the actor was among the injured.

A representative of Walsh reached out to the New York Post, saying simply, “everyone is safe and has since returned home.”

Why the driver of the Ford Explorer lost control and crashed isn’t clear. We don’t know what time of day it happened, although it appears to have been during daylight hours.

There has been zero mention of impairment in reports, nor have police said anything about distraction. It’s possible the crash was caused by the driver suffering a medical episode or a mechanical error with the vehicle, among other things.

Photos of the crash scene shared by TMZ show the Explorer held up to the collisions surprisingly well. While you can’t see the driver’s side of the vehicle, the only significant damage is at the front end and honestly seems minimal considering what it hit.

If anything, this incident should serve as a reminder that everyone, no matter their celebrity status or lack thereof, should drive with care lest they suffer a serious accident like this one.
